Ms. Mary Dzioba, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
The Board members participated in a brief discussion on the request to consider turf on the Mills Complex athletic field. Concerns were raised regarding the existing drainage and the agreement with neighbors.
Mr. Todd LoFrese introduced representatives from Kaestle Boos Associates who shared information on the proposed site for additional fields at Watertown High School. (See Attachment A.)
After the presentation, administration was directed to share the Kaestle Boos Associates’ findings with Town government.
Ms. Joanne Pannone, seconded by Mr. Richard Mazzamaro, made a motion to enter into executive session at 7:10 p.m. with all Board members listed above in attendance and invited the following: Attorney Franklin Pilicy, Fred Krueg, Dr. Philip A. Pelosi, Mr. Todd LoFrese, and Mr. Charles Beliveau.
The meeting returned to regular session at 7:45 p.m.
Ms. Mary Colangelo, seconded by Mr. Richard Mazzamaro, made a motion to adjourn the special Board of Education meeting at 7:45 p.m.
