1. Convene meeting
Ms. Gina Calabrese, Board Chair, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Todd Griffin, made a motion, seconded by Mr. Kevin Killeen, to enter into executive session at 7:01 p.m.
All Board Members listed as present, and Ms. Karen Baldwin, Superintendent of Schools, entered into executive session at 7:01 p.m.
2. Executive Session
Discussion on possible appointment of an Interim Central Office Administrator for Operations and Finance
The meeting came out of executive session at 7:40 p.m. and entered into regular session.
SUBJECT: Appointment of an Interim Central Office Administrator for Operations and Finance
Motion Presented by: Mr. Kevin Killeen
Motion Seconded by: Mr. Thomas Lambert
Text of Motion: Move to hire William Garett Miller, Jr., effective August 8, 2008, through approximately December 1, 2008, as the Interim Central Office Administrator for Operations, at a rate to be determined.
Motion passed unanimously
(6 in favor – 0 Opposed – 0 abstained)
